Final Recommendations PicDOWNLOAD THE FINAL REPORT OF THE COMMONWEALTH CONVERSATION

The Commonwealth tured 60 in 2009. This landmark year offered the perfect opportunity to reflect upon the past and to consider what the future may hold for the association.

With this in mind, the Royal Commonwealth Society facilitated the largest, global dialogue ever undertaken between the peoples of the Commonwealth about their association. This was the Commonwealth Conversation.

In November 2009, the world’s leaders gathered at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Trinidad & Tobago. There, we presented Common What?’, a set of emerging findings based on what you had told us.

On 8 March 2010, Commonwealth Day, we brought the Commonwealth Conversation to a close by publishing the full report and recommendations entitled ‘An Uncommon Association, A Wealth of Potential’.

The Commonwealth Conversation is your chance to have your voice heard; it is your chance to shape your Commonwealth.

Two billion people. 54 countries. One conversation. Join in!
