Creative Competition for Young People

Over half of the 2 billion people in the Commonwealth are aged 25 or under. Listening to young peoples’ views on the organisation and its future is therefore a vital part of the Commonwealth Conversation.

  • Are you under 25?
  • Do you want your views to be passed to Heads of Government from 53 countries?
  • Do you want to share your ideas with other young people all around the world?
  • Do you want to win up to £200 of Amazon vouchers to spend as you wish?
  • Are you good at writing or drawing?

If so, this one’s for you!

Why not take part in our fun, thought-provoking competition? On one side of paper, simply write and/or draw a response to the following:
The year is 2049. It’s the Commonwealth’s 100th birthday! Imagine that you are the Commonwealth Secretary-General. What would your Commonwealth look like and do?

Email your scanned or typed response to mycommonwealth@thercs.org

Or (if this is not possible) please post it to: My Commonwealth, The Royal Commonwealth Society, 25 Northumberland Avenue, London, WC2N 5AP. United Kingdom.

THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 31 DECEMBER 2009!
